It will come in one after another.
Hot summer is near at hand.

Mukuge

Mukuge fowers are seen blooming in unison this morning.
They are one day' s life and blooms one after another.
They are national flowers of Korea.

Tsuge trees are transplanted.
You can see the line of tuge trees.
The weather forcast calling for rain through today's afternoon was not right.

Pumpkin

Pumpkins are growing.
Boars are taking aim at them.
Threre is no effective action for threatening boars off.

Bell peppers for beer.

Beer definitely goes with edamame.
Harmful insects were put down with my hands without using chemicals.

Cucumber

Yesterday cucumer was served at supper forthe first time of this year.It was "morokyu", cucumber with misopaste.
"Morokyu" and beer made me happy for coｎsective days.

Are boars responsible for this?

Two fields of pumpkin garden were dammaged.
Several pumpkings under maturing disapeared.
Threre are remainds of seeds scattered near the mountainside fence.

Eggplant

It's the second time of this year to harvest eggplants.
These will be served for supper today.
The vegitable in it's season is very delicious.

Sayaingen

The flower of sayaingen is shown on this page on June 14.
It's happy to be able to harvest its peas today.
They are cooked at today's home dinner.

Sweet corn

Sweet corn is getting matured.
We called it "Totoko" when we were chirdern.
The freshly-roasted corn on the cob is delicious.

Tomato

Tomato is getting red.
It can be good for taking off and be served.
It will be on the dish at tomorrow's breakfast.

Apricot

Apricot is planted in my garden three years ago.
This year, it bears apricot fruits.
Tomorrow, the fruits will be put into white liquor for " anzushu."

Nigauri

It's fruits are bitter, so it is called nigauri.
In Okinawa they say goya.
Nigagori is also it's name in Kyushu, especially in Kumamoto.

Cucumber

Cucumber plants have small yellow flowers.
The flowers produce cucumber fruits in mid summer.
The fruits make human body lower temperature.

Sayainngen

Sayaingen is also called sandomame in Kansai.
Ingen is named for buddist bonk Ingen.
The peas with pods are cooked.

Senryo

The flower of senryo is inconspicuous feature.
It prouduces red berries in winter.
It is used the bringer of good luck at Shogagtsu.

Blueberry

The blueberry season comes.
It was planted last year.
It roduces berries already this year.

Mt.Hyonosen

The summer season of Mt. Hyonosen is opened today.
Yomiuri plans climbing tuor of Mt. Hyonosen.
The summit is cloudy today.

Eggplant

Eggplants are havested this morning for the first time of this year.
They are now in the kichin with shishitoes aslo taken in this morning.
They are cooked for the dinner today.

Natsutsubaki

The flower of natsutsubaki blooms this morning for the first time of this year.
The flower of natsutsubaki is clean and neat.
The flower of natsutsubaki is gorgeous.

Kurogane

The flowers of kurogane will become red berries in winter.
Hiyodori liles them.
Kurogane trees are very popular in Japanese garden.

Nanten

The flower of nanten is here.
By late summer, the berries will ripen to a bright red.
Nanten is used flower arrengement.

Potato

Potatoes are havested.
Potato seeds 4kg made 40kg potatoes.
The quality of product is rather good.

Onion

Onions are havested.
Onions are hanging.
Onions are stocked.

Loquat(Biwa)

Crows picked at a bunch of loquat.
Today we harvested loquats not to be eaten by corows more.
It is the first attempt for us to pick them since we planted three years ago.

Yukinoshita(Saxifraga Stolonifera)

Yukinoshita comes from its surviving under snow in winter.
Another story is that its leaves can see under tiny snowy flowers.
Kunio Yanagida says its real naime will be Ikenoshita, because it lives sanity place such as interior of the well.

Pamegranate

The pamegranate is a fruit.
It has seeds that are covered in red jelly.
The pameranate is first known in Iran to Himarayas in northern India.
