Nanohana leaves cooked for neeary a month.
Now nanohara is full bloom.
It is the end of March.

Apricot

There are three apricot trees in our garden.
One is over it's full bloom.
The other two are now at their best.

Tara_no_me

The spouting tara is here.
It's good to eat.
Fried one tastes wonderful.

Rengyo

It is called goledn bells in English.
It's flower has four honey-colored leaves.
It can be seen nationwide.

Biwa

Infant berries can be seen.
They will be wraped with paper bags soon.
”Momo kuri sannen kaki hachinen, Biwa wa Hayakute 13 nen."

Wakegi

Wakegi is just in season.
It's nuta is delicious.
Onomichi is top producer of wakiegi in japan.

Tanpopo

Tanpopo is called dandelion in English.
It means lion's tooth.
That name refers to the coarsely-thoothed leaves.

Ki_suisen

Ki-suisen can be seen above the stonewall.
It's rather cold in the mouning.
In the afternoon it become warm.

Tubaki

Here are Yabu_tsubaki and Akebono_tsubaki.
They are now at it's best.
Akebono_tsubaki(right) is oily.

Tubaki (Shunpu)

Shunpu(spring wind) tubaki is here.
It was transplanted last year beside the front gate.
Now, it is full-bloom.

Chinchoge

Chinchoge is spring kigo of haiku.
It has strong odor.
It is also called Jinchoge.

Yukiyanage

It's leaves is like yanagi.
It's flowers is like snow after they put down on the ground.
It's native land is Ishikawa prefecutre.

Rosemary

Rosemary is a menber of chiso family.
It's leaves are ever green.
It is used to flavor foods while barbecuing.

Wabisuke

Wabisuke tubaki blooms.
It is grown from cuttings.
It has flowers for the first time.

Ohagi

Today is the beginnig of "higan".
Ohagi is served at higan.
Ohagi is cooked by Sachiko.

Sanshuyu

Sanshuyu is arrrenged at tea ceremony (chabana).
San is literaly mountain and shuyu means gumi.
It has red berries in August or September.

Apricot

Apricot is full-bloom.
It's fine today.
Let's have lunch under the tree.

Ume

This ume tree is in season now.
Ume trees have different blooming span unlike sakura.
This ume tree is relatively young.

Kumano_kodo

Go to Haya from Tanabe on the first train at 5:22.
Pray to No.65 Kiremenakayama_oji in the half-light in the morning and Walk althrough to No.70 Akitsu_oji.
leave Tanabe 13:30 and come home 23:45.

Arrive Haya, Wakayama at 16:11.
Walke from Haya to Tanabe for about 1 hour.
Pray to No.69 Haya_oji and No.70 Dedachi_oji.

This net is put up for hiyodori protection.
The net is done also at the cabbage garden.

Leaves like hiragi's.
Berries likes Nanten's.
So it is called Hiragi_nanten,.

Ume.

Ohenro

My ohenro is started.
No.1 Ryozenii (listed picture) , No.2 Gokurakuji and No.3 Konsenji is visited today.
Have supper at Aszabu-Chokou chinese restaurant, Takamatsu.

Apricot

Aprict begins to bloom.
Last year, ten or twenty of apricots were havested.
And those becomes apricot wine.

Chinchoge

Chinchoge begins to bloom.
It's aroma is special.
Full bloom will be soon.

Yabutsubaki

Yabutubaki is flower-arranged.
It bloomed at the the garden beside the old well of my house.
It' s cloudy in the morning and rainy in the afternoon today.

Jagaimo

Plant jagaimo.
Plant a piece of jagaimo with two or three eyes.
It will be harvested in June befor rainy season.

Suisen

Single suisen is prity.
Clump of suisen is dainty.
Now suisen is in season at my garden.

Yomogi

Here is first flush of yomogi.
Yomogi is distinctively aromatic.
Yomogi mochi is familiar.
