Hassku has many flowers.
Innoshima, Hiroshima is it's originated place.
Hassaku means August 1 in the lunar calendar.

Kabocha
Pumpkins unbeded a few days ago.
Now it stands alone.
There are about 15 pumpkin plants in the garden.

The hirado-tsutuji is it's peak.
It comes about a week earlier than last year.
It fairly good this year.

Takenoko
First bamboo shoot of this season was cooked yesterday.
And bamboo shoot rice was served for supper.
Two bamboo shoots were digged by Sachiko in the back yard bush.

Kinomi
Yong leaves of sansho tree is called kinome.
It was used ganishing for Kaisekiryori.
Berries are boiled in soy sauce.
Mise_no_watashi
Come back home from Iseji walking.
This is stone pass of Umagoetoge which walked yesterday.
Walked from Misedani to Owase about 70km for 2 days.
Heihoutoge
Go to Owase from Nagashima.
Pass over Heihoutoge.
Furusato can be seen through full-bloomed sakura.
Otakikyo
Go to Nagashima from Misedani.
Pass through Otaki ravine.
Now Sakura is it's best.
Misedani
Stay at Misedani, Iseji.
Tomorrow will go over Miseszaka_toge.
This is shidarezakura near the entance of toge.
