Former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi gave a talk at Ichikawa city, Chiba on June 28.He said, "LDP (Liberal Democratic Party) is better to remain as a opposition party for a while. it will not be able to return to power even if it wins in this election. DPJ (Democratic Party of Japan)
is going out of control and is straying. LDP rule was not so bad."
And he continued, " The Koizumi Cabinet had the policy of privatization (Min to Kan) for avoiding wasteful spending of taxes and encouraging vitality of private sector. The opposite case is true in LDP. It drives backward (Kan to Kan)." (from the Asahi Shinbun 6/29)
