Scientists reported Thursday that tha amount of oil that has been leaking into the Gulf was roughly twice the amount they previously estimated.The lowest estimate is probably about 20,000bbl/d(3,200kl/d) and the highest is probably a little over 40,000bbl/d(6,300kl/d).
There are still no prospects for stopping it.
